Neighbors say crashes at this intersection happen almost every month.

“Maybe this will convince the City to do something.”

That’s what one neighbor told me while I was taking photos of a hit and run rollover crash Thursday night.

Another chimed in that he wished I’d send a photo to the Mayor. “This happens about once a month and could all be avoided by making this a 4-way stop.”

The intersection at 37th and Hoyt has stop signs in the north and southbound direction on Hoyt but no control east and west on 37th.

According to Everett Police the crash was a hit and run with the causing vehicle being abandoned about a mile south of the scene. Two people reportedly were in that car.

The driver of the van that rolled onto its side had to be cut out of the vehicle by Everett Firefighters.

She was transported by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center. No word on the extent of her injuries.

As of 9:30 PM Everett Police were still looking for the causing driver.
