Quick Stop On House Fire In Central Everett Today

Not a lot of details but two Snohomish police officers who happened to be in Everett, Washington today spotted a house fire in the 6200 block of Broadway. Here’s what we know courtesy Everett Fire Department.

Shortly after 12:15, Sgt Alanis and Detective Grieve with the Snohomish Police Department, happened upon a structure fire while headed to a detail in Everett.

They quickly notified dispatch while trying to notify anyone in the home.

A family dog was located in the home and released to safety.

Fire units arrived on scene shortly after and initiated an offensive strategy to extinguish the fire.

No civilians or firefighters were injured.

The American Red Cross Northwest Region was called for a displaced adult male resident and his dog.
