117 vehicles went slowly south on Wetmore from Hewitt Avenue up to Wall street in downtown Everett, Washington Sunday picking up pre-ordered items.
There was no getting out on foot. Just pop the trunk, roll down your window and announce your name in front of the vendor who brings your items and puts them into your trunk.
There’s no actual shopping, that all had to be done online at the vendor’s website.
Also no walking up or person to person contact on this first day of the 2020 season.
Overall it went well and Market managers say they hope to have more vendors there on Mother’s Day next Sunday.
You can check out the growing list of vendors and pre-order through the Everett Farmers Market website.
