A Moment In Time Where Protective Gear Saves Our Heroes

For nearly ten years I’ve been taking photos of first responders. Monday night I was shooting a car crash on Everett Mall Way when I noticed how this is such a moment in time. I am so used to seeing the protective gear that firefighters and police officers wear to protect them physically on the outside and how now there is a whole other layer of protective items needed to protect them on the inside.
