So earlier this week a judge releases a man convicted of bank robbery.

It was a leave to visit his mother who was reportedly very ill and he promised to return in order to begin serving time for robbing banks. The man however did not return from the leave.

The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force began looking for the man. On Thursday, while they were looking for him, a bank was robbed inside a south Everett grocery store.

The robber got away from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Later in the day the Task Force caught up with their man in Edmonds. He bore an amazing resemblance to the man who robbed the bank in south Everett. A little detective work and now the man faces a brand new bank robbery charge.
