Medical Examiner Identifies 18-Year-Old Killed In Thursday’s Shooting

An 18-year-old from Marysville was identified today by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner as having died from gunshot wounds last Thursday. Here is the announcement out Monday afternoon.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and confirmed the identification of the 18-year-old male pronounced deceased at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington on April 9th, 2020. The decedent is Tyverius X. Walburn of Marysville, Washington. The cause of death is a gunshot wound. The manner of death is Homicide.

Everett Police worked two scenes last Thursday. A parking lot littered with glass and shell casings at the corner of Everett and Rucker and a Honda sedan with multiple bullet holes left across the street from Providence Regional Medical Center.

Everett Police say they believe those involved in the shootings knew each other but they have had challenges putting together exactly what happened. No one has been arrested so far for the death of Mr. Walburn.
