Shortly after 6:30 Wednesday evening calls began coming in from people around the Everett Waterfront with reports of smoke coming from an area between the restaurants and Port offices on Craftsman Way and the boat storage west of Marine View Drive.

On arrival, crews found fire coming from a storage unit behind one of the buildings.

Firefighters were able to get a quick knockdown and keep the fire from spreading from the storage unit to the building or nearby boats in dry storage.

An Everett Fire investigator has been called to the scene and is working to determine the cause and damage estimate.

There were no injuries. Here are a few MyEverettNews.com photos from the scene.
