SWAT Uses Tear Gas To Flush Out South Everett Robbery Suspect

After a robbery in south Everett it took a SWAT team and tear gas to flush out the third of three suspects hiding in a house in southwest Everett. Here are the detail from Aaron Snell with Everett Police.

At about 1:15 p.m. this afternoon, officers responded to the 10900 block of Paine Field Wy on the report of an assault inside a residence. Arriving officers contacted a 21 year-old Everett man who had been assaulted during a robbery.

Probable cause was established for three adult males suspected of the robbery. After initially refusing to respond, two suspects exited the residence and were taken into custody. Believing at least one suspect remained inside with access to firearms, Region 1 SWAT was deployed.

SWAT injecting gas into the residence. Sometime later, the third suspect exited and was arrested. All three suspects are expected to be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on probable cause for robbery.

The suspects, all from Everett, are 26 years-old, 27 years-old, and 27 years-old. The victim sustained minor non-life threatening injuries.

During the incident, Paine Field Way was closed for over seven hours between Holly Dr and Hollow Dale Pl. The roadway is currently open for normal traffic.
