Everett Fire crews responded Wednesday night to a report of a residential fire in the 8500 block of Holly Drive in south Everett. A passerby reported seeing smoke and flames shortly after 6 PM. The first arriving unit determined the structure on fire was not a human residential structure but a chicken coop. The fire was quickly extinguished. No yet word on cause, amount of damage or if any chickens or eggs (not sure which to put first) were harmed.
