The intersection of 526 and Everett Mall Way was closed for an investigation this morning.

Detectives from the Everett Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit were out at the intersection of Highway 526 and Everett Mall Way shortly after daylight this morning. They were taking measurements from a three-vehicle crash that seriously injured a woman Monday night. The causing driver may face felony charges.

With it getting dark so early and the recent bad weather this unit has been busy the past few weeks. Here are a few photos of them working this morning. Click photo to enlarge. (A little known fact, members of this unit also raise money all year long to purchase items for kids which are given away during the 4th of July Everett Police open house in downtown Everett, Washington)
