It seems pretty simple. Friday, Everett Public Works closed Sievers Duecy Road between Hardeson and Glenwood Avenue due to water covering the roadway.
They put up really big barricades that warned the road was closed.
They added a large sign that says Water Over Roadway and there was that very visible pond of water across the road from one side to the other.
In spite of that, on Saturday drivers in Everett were going around the road closed signs, right by the Water Over Roadway warning and directly into that big pond of water.
For some it did not end well.
You’d think it would be clear not to go beyond this.
A lot of drivers were ignoring the barricades.
The driver gets out of his car and walks through the water to an Everett Police officer.
This 4-wheeler went back and forth through the water Saturday afternoon.
