2 Displaced In Apartment Fire Friday Night

An Everett Firefighter puts out hot spots
One person suffered a minor injury and two people were being assisted by the Red Cross after a fire was discovered on the back deck of an apartment in the 11400 block of 3rd Avenue SE in south Everett Friday night.
Everett Fire crews along with mutual aid from South Snohomish Fire were dispatched to reports of flames on the back of an apartment around 8 PM.
On arrival firefighters found several neighbors putting down the flames with fire extinguishers.
Fire damaged the back of the apartment and a bit of the deck on the unit above.
No word yet on the cause of the fire.
