In April 2018 rubber tiles replaced wood chips.

In April of 2018 we told you about new playground equipment and rubberized mats at Hauge Homestead Park by Silver Lake and Clark Park in north Everett.

After 18 months the pads are coming out at Hauge Homestead Park. Here’s a news brief issued this week by the City of Everett Parks and Community Services Department.

Work will begin Nov. 18 to replace the playground tiles at the Hauge Homestead Park playground and the playground will be closed for several weeks while the work is completed, depending on weather. This is warranty work – there was an issue with the binder for the tiles so they are replacing all of the tiles as part of the warranty.
