Another busy night for Major Crimes detectives with Everett Police as they investigate a shooting in the 5400 block of Colby.
Shortly before 6:00 PM Saturday night Everett Police were called to a report of a shot fired at an apartment and then a vehicle leaving the area. Multiple officers responded and began talking with several people in one of the apartments.
About 15 minutes later Everett Fire received a call about a woman arriving home to her apartment in south Everett suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken by medics to Providence Regional Medical Center with a non-life threatening wound.
In the meantime several people at the apartment where the shooting was reported were detained by Everett Police as detectives work out what happened. We’ll provide updates as they become available.
