With No Comments From Public After 3 Invitations, Everett Passes $650 Million Dollar Budget For 2020

There are 7 key priorities that shaped the 2020 budget.
The Everett City Council passed the 2020 budget at their meeting Wednesday night. They had the third and final public hearing on the budget and as with the previous two public hearings no citizens had comment or input.
With a unanimous vote the city council passed the budget.
The Mayor did mention that in the first quarter of 2020 the administration would bring forth proposed changes based on the apparent passage of I-976. No word yet what the final impact will be on the city.
Here is a link to the budget with the spending for each department outlined.
