The home and belongings were destroyed by fire.

Jim Massingale served as an officer with the Everett Police Department for more than two decades.

Yesterday he and his wife Angela arrived at their home near Concrete, Washington to find it completely destroyed by fire.

Jim’s son Tyler contacted MyEverettNews.com this morning to say he had started a Go Fund Me campaign to help his parents rebuild after losing their home and most of their belongings.

Tyler wrote the following: “My father is a veteran and retired police officer of 25 years, and my mother is a nurse and raised my siblings and I.

They are the most loving, generous, and hard working people I know. They have dedicated their time and energy to the community.

We are hoping during this difficult time we can help them.”

Here is the link to the Go Fund Me campaign created by Tyler if you would like to contribute.
