Smoke Alarms Warn Of Everett Apartment Fire
Smoke alarms save lives.
One person was transported to an Everett hospital for observation after smoke alarms warned residents of a possible fire in a unit at an apartment on Rockefeller Avenue early this morning.
About 3:15 AM a resident called 911 reporting the smoke alarm going off and seeing smoke in a neighbor’s unit.
The person in the unit got out and arriving firefighters found burning food on the stove and the unit full of smoke.
They were able to quickly get things aired out. Kitchen fires from food on the stove are one of the most common fire calls for Everett crews.
