At their Wednesday night meeting the Everett City Council is expected to award a bid worth more than half a million dollars to expand bike lanes between the Interurban Trail at 44th and Colby and downtown Everett.
The city says the project will fill in a missing link in the Bicycle Master Plan and provide accessibility and safety to bike riders coming into Metro Everett.
It is designed to be the preferred route for bicycle riders from north Everett out to the Interurban Trail with improvements at Hoyt and Pacific, along Hoyt as well as 41st and Hoyt and 41st and Colby.
