Naval Station Everett will be conducting a training exercise on Wednesday, August 28, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The exercise will include sirens on emergency response vehicles and emergency mass warning notifications on the base outdoor speakers. People near the harbor may also hear sounds of blank gunfire.
The Navy regularly conducts training exercises to maintain and improve security and emergency response qualifications. They also provide valuable opportunities for coordination between Navy personnel and local mutual aid partners.
