Informational Event For Those Trying To Restore Voting Rights In Everett Saturday

If you know someone who is trying to work through issues with their criminal record in order to restore their voting rights there is an event Saturday at Everett Community College that may be of interest. Here’s more.

August 3rd, 10 AM – 1 PM at Everett Community College, Jackson Conference Center.

The Snohomish County Branch NAACP, Everett Community College’s Diversity and Equity Center, and the Communities of Color Coalition (C3), are holding an informational event to help community members restore their voting rights and to expunge any criminal records that affect their ability to secure affordable rent and obtain a job.

This event coincides with the Washington State Law known as the Hope Act that recently took effect. The informational event will be held at the Everett Community College’s Henry Jackson Conference Center on Saturday August 3, 2019 from 10 am to 1 pm. The address is 2000 Tower Street, Everett.
