Serious Injuries In Crash At 50th And Evergreen Way

Everett Firefighters had to use power tools to access at least one patient after a crash at 50th and Evergreen Way Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly after 4 PM two cars collided with one going into a power pole near the entrance to Staples just south of 50th and Evergreen Way.
Two patients were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Here are photos provided by the Everett Fire Department of the scene.
Evergreen Way was shut down southbound while police and fire worked the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Everett PD.
Both cars were impounded as evidence.
