Water Main Break Slows Northbound Evergreen At 52nd

Everett Public Works had to shut off water to four homes following a water main break in the 5200 block of Evergreen Way Saturday evening.

Kathleen Baxter from Everett Public Works says it is a six inch main dating back to 1950.

Crews will work overnight to fix the issue and should have service restored early Sunday morning to those affected.

Baxter says it is a good idea to run the water out of your sink until it is flowing clearly before use. The northbound curb lane of Evergreen Way is closed from 53rd to 52nd as crews work on repairs.
