Medical Examiner Identifies Victims Of Violent Weekend In Everett

ME It was an extremely violent weekend in Everett, Washington.

It started with the discovery Thursday night of a man’s body in a storage unit south of Everett, the shooting death of a woman at her place of work in southwest Everett on Friday morning and the hit and run death of a woman Saturday night in north Everett.

Here are the releases put out this afternoon from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.

In the first incident Thursday night: The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and confirmed the identification of the 52-year-old male who was found near the 13000 block of 4th Avenue West in Everett, WA on May 23, 2019. The decedent is Eric C. Adams of Everett, WA. The cause of death is homicidal violence. The manner of death is classified as Homicide. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this case.

In the shooting Friday morning: The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and confirmed the identification of the adult female who was a victim in a shooting near the 1400 block of 80th Street SW in Everett, WA around 8:00 A.M. on May 24, 2019. The decedent is Rebecca J. Phebus, 57, of Camano Island, WA. The cause of death is multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is classified as Homicide. Note: The suspect in that case was arrested by Everett Police and made a court appearance today. He is being held on $1,005,000.00 bail.

In the hit and run Saturday night: The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed the examination and confirmed the identification of the 37-year-old female who was involved in a car versus pedestrian collision and found near the 1300 block of 13th Street and Rucker Avenue in Everett, WA on May 25, 2019. The decedent is Heidi K. Allen of Mukilteo, WA. The cause of death is blunt force trauma. The manner of death is classified as Homicide.
