Woman Dies, Possibly Dragged Down Street Near 13th And Grand Saturday Night

A bouquet of flowers was left at the corner of 13th and Grand Sunday morning.

Police look down the street where it appeared the woman was dragged for about a half block.

Everett Police Traffic Safety Detectives are investigating after a woman was found in the street at 13th and Grand Saturday night. Initial indications are the woman was dragged about a half block down 13th street by a vehicle.

The woman was reported unresponsive in the street shortly after 9:30 PM. Medics rushed her to Providence Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Everett Police blocked off several streets in the area of 13th and Grand, Rucker and Hoyt and officers went door to door looking for witnesses.

It will be up to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner to determine the woman’s cause and manner of death as well as release her identity.

At this point Everett Police are asking anyone who may know about the incident to call their tip line at 425-257-8450.
