Looks like quite the battle.
The 1st group takes to the shore at 7:30am.
Everett Parks says there are still spots open in the annual Kids Fish-In at Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake in south Everett this Saturday.
The event is for kids between the ages of four and fourteen and there is no cost. If you have gear bring it but if not there will be a limited number of poles available.
Are you a parent but don’t know anything about fishing? That’s okay, volunteers from the Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club will be on hand to help the kids catch a fish.
The event does fill up and in order to make it work signups are requested ahead of time.
Sessions are held hourly at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30.
