Man Stabbed In Downtown Everett – Suspect Arrested

The stabbing happened in an alley in downtown Everett.

Everett Police Patrol officers made an arrest after a stabbing Saturday afternoon in downtown Everett, Washington. Shortly before three o’clock a stabbing was reported to 911. It occurred in the alley between Rockefeller and Wetmore just north of Everett Avenue.
Arriving EPD units found a man who had been stabbed. Medics were called and that man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center. Officers contacted a suspect about a half hour after the stabbing. He was taken to the Snohomish County Jail and booked on suspicion of first degree assault and other charges and is expected to make an initial court appearance on Monday.
No word for now on the severity of the injuries to the victim or the relationship between suspect and victim. We will update if more information becomes available.
