Only one wall remains making it quite a remodel.

Had some inquiries about what was happening at the north Everett Taco Bell property at 2727 Broadway.

According to the City of Everett eTRAKit permitting site what is happening on the property is: PARTIAL SELECTIVE DEMOLITION OF EXTG RESTAURANT-TACO BELL

Not everything is going: (E) CMU WALL TO BE RETAINED & BRACED PER REQUIREMENTS OF ASCE 37-14. DEMO ONLY ALLOWED FOR BLDG, NO SITE WORK – SEPARATE PW PERMIT.

A separate permit has been approved for the site work. The remodel will upgrade the restaurant including ADA upgrades and add branding elements. The drive through window will be on the north side of the building with the main entrance on the California side.

Village

The Village Inn across from Fred Meyer on Evergreen Way is now down.

Meanwhile the Village Restaurant is no more. The building which had set empty for years is coming down to make way for a Burger King restaurant. You can see our earlier coverage here.
