SWAT Activity In Lowell Friday Morning

The North Metro SWAT Team served the warrant.


Smoke billows from the area of the house after the SWAT team fired a device.

Had some calls regarding a SWAT team working at a house in the area of South Second Street and Ravenna Street in Lowell this morning. (Fri) Neighbors reported bangs and explosions coming from the area.

A multi-agency investigation headed by the Lake Forest Park Police Department involved serving a search warrant at an address east of South Second street in Everett according to Captain Armbrust of Lake Forest Park PD.

He did not elaborate on the investigation but did say the operation went off in a safe manner and there is no threat to the neighborhood.

The SWAT Team serving the warrant was from North Sound Metro SWAT. The team is comprised of officers from the following municipal jurisdictions: Bothell, Edmonds, Kirkland, Lake Forest Park, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Monroe, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo and Redmond.

We’ll update on any Everett connection to the Lake Forest Park case as information becomes available.
