Everett Economy

Public comments are now being sought for a proposed senior living community in the south end of the city at 108th and Evergreen Way. That’s about a block south of Pignataro Volkswagen. The comment period runs until April 16th. Here’s a brief description of the project:

apartments

There would be 3 five story buildings in a C configuration. This is the west view facing Evergreen Way.

The proposed action is to build 322 senior (age 55+) multiple family apartment units. The site includes three tax parcels totaling approximately 5.36 acres & is zoned for commercial & multiple family development. The development plan proposes to demolish the existing structures & build an approximate 336,990sqft, five‐story building with 160 parking spaces under-building & 97 uncovered parking spaces. A Type F stream & Category III wetland are located on the eastern portion of the site. The buffer widths of the stream & wetland will be averaged and/or reduced & enhanced. An estimated 39,000 cubic yards of material is proposed to be excavated & 8,000 cubic yards of fill is proposed. Critical Area & Design Review applications are also pending for this proposal.
