Everett Government

Today the City of Everett revealed a new logo and branding campaign. There are several examples of the use of the logo on the City’s Facebook page so we are including those here for folks who don’t use that platform. Here is the press release from the city about the logo update.

We’re excited to share a new look and feel for the City of Everett and Visit Everett, our tourism initiative.

In 2018 we began the process of developing new branding and a multi-year marketing plan to support our economic development strategic plan. Our goal was to develop a brand and marketing strategies that highlight Everett’s strengths and the opportunities that exist in our community, and will help us attract new businesses, visitors and residents to our city.

The City’s Communications and Marketing Team worked with local design firm Milltown Creative, Inc. to develop the new brand and marketing plan. We incorporated input from stakeholders, residents, business owners, City staff and regional partners.

Everett is experiencing a wave of positive change with the opening of Paine Field Airport, new developments on the waterfront and riverfront, the expansion of the college district and a revitalized downtown core. Our new branding provides a modern, streamlined look for the City and will position us in the best possible light for potential visitors, residents, and economic investors for years to come.

The City’s new logo pulls its inspiration from the historic brick buildings found throughout the city. We wanted to create something that feels modern and forward-looking while honoring our rich history. The logo’s simple design allows for a variety of creative applications using art and photography.

We are currently redesigning the City’s website, www.everettwa.gov, to make it more accessible and easy to navigate. We’ll launch the new website with our updated branding in mid-April.

If you have questions about the new logo, please contact us.
