Everett Police Seek Tan SUV In Fatal Pedestrian Hit And Run

Editor’s Update 6:00 PM: The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim in this case as 56-year-old Halford D. Fisher of Everett, Washington.

This in today from Everett Police on a fatal hit and run that happened on March 11th in front of the Home Depot at Airport and Evergreen.

At about 9:20 p.m. on March 11th, an adult male was walking eastbound across Evergreen Way at Airport Rd in the crosswalk. He was struck by a northbound vehicle which then left the scene. The victim was found unconscious and transported to a local hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the incident.

Witnesses describe the vehicle as a tan, early 2000’s SUV, similar to a Chevy Tahoe or Suburban. The SUV hit the man, backed up, then drove around him to flee northbound on Evergreen Way. Detectives believe damage to the SUV should be obvious, but not substantial.

Traffic Safety detectives continue investigating and ask the public for help to identify the vehicle and driver.
