Just before 10 PM Everett Police responded to a call of shots fired at the BECU at 112th and Evergreen Way. Here’s what we know so far from Everett Police Lieutenant Ryan Dalberg.

The initial reports are that two people met up to conduct a purchase of a cell phone. After a dispute over the price the two end up at the drive thru ATM at the BECU at 112th and Evergreen Way.

Dalberg tells MyEverettNews.com during the interaction, the intended buyer allegedly pulled a fake gun and attempted to rob the seller. The seller responded by pulling a real gun and shooting the other man several times.

The man who was shot was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with severe, life-threatening injuries.

The man who fired the shots is currently being interviewed by Major Crimes detectives with Everett Police. The investigation is ongoing.
