Wednesday night firefighters were called to the neighborhood west of Providence Pacific Campus for a house fire. The call came in around 8:30 PM as residents reported fire in the wall. They safely evacuated.
Arriving units saw smoke coming from the attic. The first crew in located fire in a bathroom that had spread to the attic. They were able to get a fast stop.
A ladder company did have to cut a hole in the roof of the house to ventilate the smoke.
The family was displaced and investigators have been called to the scene to try and determine the cause.
Earlier in the day Everett Firefighters were called to fires at two different apartments. One shortly after midnight in south Everett and another one around 9 AM just south of downtown.
Both of those fires were contained to the rooms where they started. None of the fires have been reported as suspicious.
A very busy day though for Everett Firefighters.
