Everett Police arrived shortly after the first phone call to 911
About 3:45 AM Police were called to the report of a shooting and found a man who had been shot. Medics were called but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Everett PD said in a press release a woman was with the victim but she was unhurt. A K-9 was called in to help look for the shooter and evidence.
No suspects were located but Everett Police say they have detained one person of interest.
Initial reports are the victim and suspect knew each other.
