Police tape is stretched across the front of this Auto Zone store Tuesday night.

5:45 AM: Rubatino says they will resume residential garbage collection but will not be picking up recycling or yard waste. You can set out double loads to make up for last week.

Everett and Mukilteo Schools are both still closed for today. Everett Commmunity College and WSU Everett will begin classes at 10 AM.

Still lots of slush out there. The main roads look good but most neighborhood streets are still hard to navigate. As you shovel your driveway or sidewalk if you can uncover the storm drain that will help the water run off and prevent flooding.

Heavy snow on flat rooftops is an ongoing concern today. The roof of the Auto Zone at 6500 Evergreen Way cracked last night. The store was safely evacuated but suffered extensive damage.
