Detectives spent hours Thursday collecting evidence at a house in the 3200 block of Lombard.

Everett Police say Michael T. Boone was experiencing homelessness, living in a camp in the woods. Last Friday his body was found tied to a tree, stripped of most of his clothing just south of 41st street.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner determined he died from exposure-hypothermia. Everett police say they believe Mr. Boone had been in the woods tied to that tree for days before he was discovered.

Detectives have now arrested three people in connection with the case. A man and woman also believed to be experiencing homelessness have been arrested on suspicion of second degree murder and a man who lived in an apartment in the 3200 block of Lombard has been arrested on suspicion of 1st degree robbery.

The woman, who is 33 years old, was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail about 2 AM. She made an initial court appearance this afternoon and is being held on one million dollars bail while the two men are expected to make their first court appearances tomorrow afternoon.

Detectives spent hours today searching a house in the 3200 block of Lombard. It appears robbery was the likely motive. The investigation is still active this evening as of this writing at 8:00 PM.
