While great to look at Sky Lanterns are considered too dangerous and not allowed in Everett.

Just a reminder that while fireworks are allowed in some areas on New Year’s Eve fireworks are not allowed in Everett, Washington to celebrate the New Year.

On Friday the Everett Fire Department issued a reminder that Everett Municipal Code prohibits the possession and/or discharge of fireworks, to include sparklers and Sky Lanterns, within city limits.

To report fireworks, please call Snohomish 911 dispatch non-emergency line 425-407-3999. Save calling 911 for reporting of fires or actual in progress emergencies.
