Nighttime Delays Coming To Casino And Evergreen Next Week

Starting Wednesday there could be some big time delays for folks traveling through the intersection of Evergreen Way and Casino in south Everett. Here’s the heads-up put out by the City of Everett today.

The intersection of Evergreen Way and Casino Rd. will be impacted by a major water main replacement project starting Jan. 2, 2019, until Jan. 10, 2019.

The intersection will be reduced to a single lane controlled by an officer from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. during this time. A detour for Casino Road, east of the intersection, will be implemented, as needed, to accommodate worker and public safety.

Four additional similar events will occur between Jan. 10 and mid-February to allow for testing of the new water main, water main connections and restoration.

No closures will occur over weekends. The work is weather dependent, which may impact the dates the work can occur.
