Vogeli Leads Rourke By 577 Votes In Everett City Council Race

About another 3000 ballots were counted Wednesday afternoon in the races within the Everett City limits.

The results, about 44.54% voter turnout in Everett so far show little change.

In the City Council race:
Liz Vogeli has 10,844 votes (50.96%)
Tyler Rourke has 10,267 votes (48.25%)

Electing Everett City Council members by Districts is getting approval:
Approved: 12,622 votes (55.83%)
Rejected: 9984 votes (44.17%)

5 Geographical City Council Districts with 2 At-Large positions is getting approval:
Option A (5-2) 11,633 votes (53.87%)
Option B (4-3) 9961 votes (46.13%)

Voters are saying okay to restoring the prior Levy Lid for Emergency Medical Services in Everett, Washington
Proposition 3 Approved: 12,504 votes (53.24%)
Proposition 3 Rejected: 10,984 votes (46.76%)

Thursday’s Ballot count should solidify the results for issues in Everett. Other areas of the County and State may take a bit longer to achieve certainty.
