Everett faith, civic, and community leaders are hosting a vigil in remembrance of the victims at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.

It is also a rally in support of our local Jewish community, members of all historically targeted groups, and of the religious and cultural diversity that we uphold as a core American value.

The event will be held Thursday, November 1 at 6:00 PM at the Snohomish County Campus, in Public Meeting Rooms 1 and 2, 1st floor of the the Drewel Building, on the  east side of the County Campus. (3000 Rockefeller Avenue).

Speakers will include Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin, Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers, Congressman Rick Larsen, and Rabbi Rachel Kort of Temple Beth Or in Everett.

Doors will open at 5:30 PM.  Following the speakers, participants will proceed outside for a candlelight conclusion to the program.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own candles, if possible.
