Crash Backs Up Afternoon Commute On 526 East Of Evergreen Way

A three car crash with one rolling over on its side created quite the backup on the Boeing Freeway Wednesday afternoon. It happened around 4:40 PM.

One driver was briefly trapped and rescue crews with Everett Fire had to stabilize the car that rolled before they could free him.

He was transported by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center.

No one else was hurt but traffic trying to get south onto I-5 from 526 was snarled for an hour on the Boeing Freeway as well as northbound Evergreen Way approaching 526.
