No Injuries As Fiery Crash Wrecks Three Vehicles On Wetmore

Wetmore was shut down for about 30 minutes.

An Everett firefighter finishes putting out the fire in the engine compartment.

A look at the aftermath of the crash and fire.
Thankfully no injuries but two vehicles appeared to be totaled and at least one other damaged after a suspected impaired driver slammed his vehicle into cars parked in the 2500 block of Wetmore Avenue in downtown Everett Friday evening.
The crash happened around 7:00 PM.
After hitting the parked cars the driver was able to get out of his vehicle. That was fortunate as it burst into flames that could be seen from several blocks away.
Everett fire crews quickly got the fire out and Everett Police detained the driver who was then transported to Providence Regional Medical Center on Colby to be checked out before being processed.
