A quick update after receiving inquiries regarding a police chase in south Everett Wednesday night. Around 9:15 PM Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies got into a chase with a large SUV that was seen driving recklessly.

The SUV led deputies on a chase north on Evergreen Way into Everett, onto the Boeing Freeway, south on Everett Mall Way and south down 7th Ave SE to 112th and west to 4th Avenue West into unincorporated Snohomish County.

Deputies were able to use a “PIT” maneuver and the SUV spun out, flipped and ended up against a tree in the 13100 block of Ash Way.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect was a 50-year-old man who was arrested for suspicion of DUI and driving while license suspended. There were no injuries.
