Everett Police Recover Multiple Shell Casings On 7th Avenue SE

Bullet casings are now collected and sent to the ATF for examination.

Everett Police shut down 7th Avenue SE between 100th street and 107th after receiving reports of shots fired Saturday night.

Shortly after 10:30 PM Everett Police were told two vehicles may have been shooting at each other along 7th Avenue SE.

Multiple officers responded and 7th Avenue was shut down while Everett Police went door to door through several blocks making sure no one was hurt.

There were no reports of injuries but several shell casings were recovered. The road was shut down for about forty-five minutes.

As is the case in all shots fired incidents in Everett, Washington now, the shots fired report will be assigned to a detective for investigation and the shell casings will be sent to an ATF lab for comparison with casings recovered in other incidents.
