Everett, Police Blotter

Everett Police are asking people to look closely at the following video. It is grainy but may hold an important clue in finding the killer of Charlie Wall.

Here’s more information from a request put out by Everett Police earlier today.

Detectives are seeking help to identify persons of interest in the homicide of an Everett man.

At about 5:00 am on July 28th, three people were seen walking in the area of 5130 Evergreen Way on video surveillance. As they pass a homeless man, the video shows the tallest person turn towards the man and initiate a confrontation. During the interaction, the man is shot; he collapses and dies at the scene. All three suspects then run northbound.

At this time, none of the three have been identified.

The taller person appears to be white, and is seen wearing light colored shorts with a dark sweatshirt. The other two appear to be much shorter and are wearing dark clothing.

The shooting victim has been identified as 47 year-old Charles K. Wall by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Surveillance Video is available for sharing at this link on YouTube: (Video of the person of interest walking from the scene.)

Anyone with information about this incident or knows the suspect is asked to call the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
