Two Families Escape Early Morning Duplex Fire In North Everett
Units from Marysville Fire assisted Everett.
Everyone made it out safely
One side of the duplex was heavily damaged.
The Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross is helping two families after a fire in a duplex in the 800 block of Locust early Friday morning.
The fire was reported about 2:00 AM from one of the units which became fully involved. Arriving fire units reported seeing flames from Broadway.
The residents in the unit on fire and the adjoining were were able to get out safely and there were no injuries. One unit was heavily damaged and the other suffered smoke damage. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
