The store closing signs recently went up on the front doors.

Farms and Market

Farms and Market appeared to be the only active tenant inside the Grand Avenue Marketplace.

While it opened March 1st to much fanfare, Farms and Market under the Grand Avenue Apartments in the 2900 block of Grand Avenue is closing.

Signs are up advertising many items at fifty percent off. The cafe and deli will reportedly close this weekend with the market to be closed by the 14th of September.

The Farms and Market website does not appear to be working anymore.

MyEverettNews.com was unable to contact any management available to comment on the closure.

It was never a traditional Farmers Market but was called a Farm Based Market. When we covered their opening just prior to March 1st, General Manager Alicia Moreno explained there are three main components. Farm stands, a simple grocery and prepared foods.

We did check in with Choux Choux Bakery next door and were told things are going great there. “We’ve been here two years and we’ll be here forever,” said an employee.
