This is not a good place to try to hide from the police.

A 40 year old man who reportedly stole a car from a Jiffy Lube in Everett picked a bad place to try to hide from police.

Around 9:30 PM Wednesday night Naval Station Everett Police called Everett PD and said they had a man inside one of their buildings who wouldn’t identify himself. About that same time an Everett Police officer received a call from a woman who told him the person who stole her truck from a Jiffy Lube earlier in the day was at Naval Station Everett. The man was not a sailor or civilian employee.

Everett Police responded to the base and were able to identify the man as the vehicle theft suspect. He was partially identified by his hair style described by witnesses to the theft as corn rows formed into a mini man bun. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for felony vehicle theft. No word on how he managed to get onto the base and into a building in the first place.
