Meet Your Neighbors At One Of The National Night Out Events In Everett

Tuesday is the National Night Out where people are encouraged to do one simple thing. Get to know your neighbors.

Some neighborhoods are having pot luck, others music, some ice cream and many just a simple gathering with people chatting and getting to know one another.

Here’s the latest list of events planned across Everett. Members of the Everett Police Department will be stopping by many of these places to introduce themselves and offer suggestions on crime prevention.

Don’t see an event near you? Try simply going over to your next door neighbors house, or across the street or the upstairs apartment and say hello. The reality is just meeting your closest neighbors is a great start to watching out for each other in case of crime, natural disaster or emergency.
