Everett Fire Department Cools Down Kids On A Hot Day
Here comes the water!
“This is the coolest thing ever,” said one mom. “These kids are going to remember this for a long time,” said another. They were offering their reaction as we took pictures of Everett Fire Engine 6 acting as a giant sprinkler at Walter Hall Park on Casino Road this afternoon.
In addition to Engine 6, fire inspectors with the Everett Fire Department participated in what was called “Beat The Heat.” For thirty minutes firefighters used the master stream on Engine 6 to keep more than 100 kids cool. Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos of kids (and firefighters) having a great time. Click photo to enlarge.
